OC KIDS

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me..."

Matthew 19:14

At OCKids we believe every child is made in the image of God. We want to glorify Him as we partner with families to help children develop an understanding of God and an authentic faith in Christ. Each of our children's environments are developmentally appropriate and staffed by volunteers who have completed extensive background clearances and training.

New to OC Kids

We’re so excited to meet you and your family! When you first arrive, go to the welcome center located in the main lobby area. You will be asked to complete a welcome card that will be entered into our check-in system. To speed up the check-in process, you can download the welcome card HERE and bring it with you. This will provide us with emergency contact information and any allergy or special needs information we may need to know for your child. You will receive a sticker to be placed on your child and a corresponding tag with an alphanumeric code that you will need to present when you pick up your child. A volunteer will then accompany your family to your child’s classroom.

You can rest assured knowing that each of our children's ministry staff has passed several background clearances & has received training related to specific environments. If you have any questions, please email Amanda Myers, director of children's ministries.

Our Vision

Our desire is to glorify God by partnering with families and providing all children with a safe,
loving, fun environment that leads them to develop an authentic relationship with Jesus.
This is how we put our vision into action:

  • Create engaging lessons and activities that lead children to knowing God and His word.
  • Create opportunities for children to connect with others and build lasting friendships.
  • Provide children with meaningful opportunities to demonstrate God's love through Christian service.

Phase Life Map

Check out the Phase of Life Map as it relates to how children progress through the various phases of life and spiritual growth.  The Map also provides some specific things you can do as a parent to help your child grow spiritually.
