Why is it important?
At Otterbein, we believe choosing to begin a relationship with Jesus and becoming more like Jesus throughout our lives is a big deal. It is a big deal because Jesus says it is a big deal. And it is a big deal because a relationship with Jesus can change everything.
It can change how you feel about life—both the good and the bad things that happen. It can have a positive impact on your relationships. It can impact your finances. It can give you purpose in life. It can help you not fear what will happen when your time on this earth is over and you enter into your eternal life.

- Begin attending worship services. We would love to have you attend Otterbein Church. If you are new to church, please click HERE for more information about Otterbein Church & what you can expect if you attend.
- Plan to be baptized as soon as possible. The Bible teaches us that baptism is our way of telling others about the decision we have made to follow Jesus. This is an important part of our decision to follow Christ. Baptisms are scheduled monthly at Otterbein. Click HERE for more information and to express your desire to be baptized.
- Attend the Welcome to Otterbein Class the next time it is offered. The class is taught by Pastor Mike or Pastor Mark and is offered several times throughout the year. It will help you know more information about our church and will provide information about how you can become involved in the life of the church.
