A Theology of Failure

Failure, especially failure resulting from sin, is something we don’t like to talk about. Yet if we avoid the conversation, we lose the opportunity to find freedom & hope. To experience hope we must discover a deeper theology. Theology is the study of the nature & person of God. Yes, theology is the path to freedom. Instead of focusing on our failures imagine what our lives would be like if we focused on a biblical theology.

Let's just state the obvious. Every person can tell a story of when they messed up & the pain that came as a result. That failure often causes us to ask, "What do I do now?"

Pastor Mark Green shared the story of a person in the Bible who failed in a huge way, but Jesus did not give up on this guy. Instead, Jesus invited him to breakfast on the beach & had a conversation with him that changed the course of his life.
